Jeffrey Holmes – a former Chief Operating Officer at Algoma Public Health –  and former Director of Finance at Sault Area Hospital – has pleaded guilty to charges of theft over $5000 and breach of trust during his time at APH which ended in the summer of 2013.   According to the Sault Star he pleaded guilty yesterday to stealing more than $434,000 from the Health Unit.  He is scheduled to be sentenced June 29th.
