SinkholeDrivers on a section of road in northwestern Ontario had to come up with another route last night that wouldn’t slow their travel.  That’s because a sinkhole closed Everard Road in Lyon Township — south of Highway 11 in the Thunder Bay district — late yesterday afternoon.  The sinkhole is right in the middle of that road about 12 to 15 feet wide and 8 feet deep. That road eventually re-opened late last night. In Greater Sudbury, Highway 537 in the Wahnapitae area is closed because of flooding from Jumbo Creek.
