City council will be asked on Monday to give its approvals for both a request for a street closure and a liquor licence to coincide with Greyhound home dates in the opening round of the playoffs.  The proposals would involve closing Queen Street from Bruce Street to Dennis Street in front of the Essar Centre and for three licenced tent patios.  Loplops would operate the Pop-Up Patios and serve alcohol from 5 o’clock up to game time at 7.  The street closure during the home playoff dates would be from 3:30 pm until 8 pm.
